Before launching it, make sure to add a virtual Parallel Port device, and point it to your physical port. Oh, that would be great if you wrote a howto! After reading all sorts of rubbish on the net I finally stumbled across this article.I reinstalled VMWare Player AFTER inserting the PCI-e parallel port adapter in the host and BINGO! Also, I'm wanting to install a printer on my LPT port.
