I went to C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Config and renamed the machine.config to machine.config.backup. There is no msvcm100.dll on my c:\windows\system32 folder. When did you get this error message? Should I allow my child to make an alternate meal if they do not like anything served at mealtime?

Anyway, I restored to the point created immediately before the update, and VS2010 doesn't complain about not being able to "Create Window" anymore... I've tried to take ownership of the file, and it appears to me that I have, but I still can't open the file.
