I tried everything I could find but still got the maddening, "Incorrect Password." Finally I gave up and called Microsoft. The issue was my Logitech webcam pending file name change in the registry. It was worth it not to waste any more time. And on the latest version of WSE, Windows Server Essentials 2012 R2, Connector is not compatible with Windows 10. useful reference

shares work, connector software errors out with same error after submitting the password. Ugh....I can't remember the last time things went smoothly with computers for me....it' exhausting! You will have to enter the IPV4 IP address of the server to complete the install but it does work.
